All of our leashes are made of nylon bungee to withstand the rigors of paddling, especially in salt water areas. All loops are hand done with two galvanized steel crimps and sealed with shrink wrap to deter corrosion. We design all of our leashes to be used with Aluminum Carabineers, or you can just slip the loop through a pad eye and thread the other end through the eye. Your leash is still 100% usable. Other companies use plastic hook ends and when they break, you need to replace your leash. We stand behind all of our products with a Unconditional Life Time Warranty.

I used your paddle leash. It was a good length and didn't get in the way while paddling. Held very well. The Kayak was underwater in pretty heavy current trapped against a tree and it took me a while to pull free... I was able to save both paddles (it's a tandem)... We went out last weekend and dumped the yak in a tight turn amongst a big spring pile up of trees and branches and the leash and new carabineer held just fine! I guess you saved me a few hundred dollars…
