Deck Hatch - 6 Inch

Gain inside access and interior storage space with the Yak Gear Hatch. Hatch installation is no longer solely for the purpose of adding additional storage with a cat bag.  In fact, most kayakers are beginning to install hatches with the only purpose of gaining inside access for unrelated rigging project within an arms length of the hatch.  The full turn Yak Gear hatch does is 6 inches.  The 6 inch hatches needs 8 inches of flat space to be installed.  Six #8-32x3/4” screws and locknuts are recommended for installation, but included.  If both the hatch and the cat bag are needed for the specific situation, please see the complete Yak Gear Hatch Kit.  Water proof silicone recommended, but not included.
